Elke dag voor gescheiden mensen (Wendi McLendon-Covey) is als de film Groundhog Day, alledaags en elke dag net als de vorige. Maar wanneer de nieuwe gevangene Casey White (Rossif Sutherland) naar haar gevangenis wordt gebracht, ontwikkelen de twee een geheime verliefdheid. Vicky schenkt Casey speciale aandacht, in de overtuiging dat hij de enige man is die haar ziet zoals ze gezien wil worden. Maar wanneer Casey's onvermijdelijke overplaatsing naar een langdurige gevangenisstraf nadert, besluit Vicky wanhopige actie te ondernemen. Vicky zet alles op het spel en slaagt erin Casey uit de gevangenis te bevrijden en neemt hem mee op de vlucht, waarbij hij de autoriteiten ontwijkt tijdens een elf dagen durende jacht op vrijheid. Voor Vicky is zelfs de waarschijnlijke tragedie die voor hen ligt de kans waard om weer volwaardig te leven.
