Tο βιογραφικό δραματικό θρίλερ Seberg που θα μας πάει στα τέλη της δεκαετίας του '60, όταν η εμβληματική ηθοποιός και σύμβολο του γαλλικού Νέου Κύματος Jean Seberg βρέθηκε στο στόχαστρο του FBI λόγω της ακτιβιστικής της δράσης και της σχέσης της με τον Hakim Abdullah Jamal, ξάδερφο του Malcolm X. Η δράση του προγράμματος COINTELPRO του FBI φρόντιζε να την παρενοχλεί συστηματικά, να την εκφοβίζει και να τη δυσφημεί με σκοπό τη μείωση της δημόσιας εικόνας της και καταστροφή της επαγγελματικής της καριέρας, κάτι που οδήγησε στη φθορά της ψυχικής της υγείας και τελικά στην αυτοκτονία.
